Who Owns GamerSupps?

GamerSupps is an energy supplements brand based in Brick, New Jersey. The company was founded in 2015 by Eric Frayman, Ryan Morrison, and Ryan Garvey to serve esports gamers. GamerSupps’ energy supplements provide long-lasting energy, enhance endurance, and improve reflexes during gaming.

GamerSupps markets and sells its energy supplements under the GG brand. These products are keto-friendly, zero calories, and sugar-free.

The GG formula has several flavors. As of Jun 2023, GamerSupps offered 100 servings per tub for $0.40/serving. Its ingredients include nootropics to sharpen focus and increase gamers’ reaction time, caffeine to maximize energy and endurance, and five healthy vitamins and minerals. It doesn’t have fillers to boost nutritional value. [1]

GamerSupps helps esports athletes and gamers perform at the highest potential during crucial moments. The brand’s keto-friendly GG formula works with low-carb and ketogenic diets.

In Oct 2023, GamerSupps showcased its products at the VKET Summer 2023 event. The brand offered promotional goods to visitors and shoppers, like the GamerSupps waifu cup with a cute anime girl. [2]

GamerSupps top-selling energy supplements include Blo’hole Blast and Guacamole Gamer Fart. GG’s nootropics stack has non-GMO coffee beans, L-theanine, L-tyrosine, Choline L-Bitartrate, and Phosphatidylserine.

These ingredients boost mental clarity, reduce fatigue, and enhance cognitive function. The supplements also include Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Zinc, Coenzyme Q10, Lutein, and antioxidant extracts to boost mental performance and overall health. But who owns GamerSupps? [3]

Who is GamerSupps’ Owner?

GamerSupps is owned by YouTuber Jonathan Schlatt, who launched his online career in Jul 2013. Schlatt is a US streamer and podcaster born in Sep 1999. His “Schlatt” channel has over 2 million followers. One of his YouTube videos – “Elon, r u ok?” – has over 27 million views.

In May 2022, Schlatt announced that he had acquired GamerSupps. He also operates the jschlattLIVE YouTube channel with 4.08 million followers and “DID SCHLATT WIN?” with 383,000 subscribers. [4]

GamerSupps sells energy supplements through online channels and physical stores. However, some customers have complained about shipping delays and slow response time. According to Trustpilot, GamerSupps.gg has a 2.9-star rating out of 5.

Some online shoppers waited 4 weeks after paying to receive their orders. Others complain about the company’s substandard customer service and support from its contact center team. [5]

GamerSupps offers a healthier alternative to energy drinks and sugar-rich sodas. It is a go-to choice for gamers seeking to optimize their gaming experience. Although GG supplements contain caffeine, the company uses non-GMO beans.

This caffeine source can boost energy and focus with minimal health risks. It is a preferable option for health-conscious gamers concerned about caffeine intake. The brand also offers tips to help consumers optimize the dosage and usage for the best results. [6]

GamerSupps engages with customers through social media platforms and streaming channels. The brand also relies on influencers and gamers to promote its energy supplements to the gaming community.

In Sep 2023, GamerSupps partnered with Rando of RandoWis.com to sell products through his channel. The deal allows Rando’s fans and followers to access GG supplements at 10% off via the GamerSupps.gg platform. [7]

GamerSupps’ Ownership History

Eric Frayman, Ryan Morrison, and Ryan Garvey established GamerSupps in 2015. They are the original owners. The co-founders identified a niche seeking performance enhancement and created an energy supplement focused on the gaming community.

Since its founding, the company has relied on competitive branding, new flavors, and innovative formulations to catalyze growth. The brand also developed a community through partnerships.

GamerSupps primarily used influencer marketing and paid ads to drive traffic to their online store. This strategy helped the company reach gamers globally. However, GG energy drinks didn’t resonate with anime fans and non-gamers.

In May 2021, GamerSupps launched a new anime-themed Waifu shaker cup on Rebuy. This product introduced anime fans to other anime-related items offered by the company. [8]

GamerSupps ownership changed hands in May 2022 when Frayman, Morrison, and Garvey sold the brand to Jonathan Schlatt for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition by a controversial content creator elicited varied reactions from the public. Vocal esports gamers raised their concerns about the brand’s direction and practices. [9]

GamerSupps has faced several allegations. Before its acquisition, Eric Frayman worked with IceRocker. The company used her marketing designs and digital mock-ups without offering compensation.

In 2022, IceRocker shared her unfair treatment by GamerSupps’ executives online. Her experiences resonated with other collaborators and partners, who accused the brand of nonpayment for their services.

The owner, Schlatt, has been working behind the scenes to improve GamerSupps’ reputation in the gaming community. [10]

Jonathan Schlatt is a leading figure in the online content creation niche. He has used his position to advance GamerSupps’ brand awareness and reputation in the gaming community. In Jul 2022, GamerSupps announced a new collaboration with internet superstar Kaho Shibuya and Bleach anime character designer Masashi Kudo.

Kaho and Kudo worked with GamerSupps on custom artwork featuring Kaho-themed products: the “Kaho’s Guil-tea Pleasure” passion fruit iced tea flavor and Waifu Cup V2! The announcement came only two months after Schlatt acquired GamerSupps. [11]

GamerSupps’ Shareholder Structure

GamerSupps is a standalone energy supplement brand owned by Jonathan Schlatt. Schlatt is the company’s majority shareholder. The owner also co-founded Schlatt & Co. with his business partner.

As of 2022, Schlatt had a 50% stake in Schlatt & Co. The company makes money from Schlattcoin and merchandise sales. However, Schlatt’s top income generator is advertising through his YouTube channel.

GamerSupps owner, Schlatt, is worth over $200,000. As of 2022, Schlatt’s YouTube account had a $103,000 valuation. This figure was based on the channel’s 19.1 million views and 462,000 subscribers. [12]
